Business Park Berlin The

Business Park Berlin The Business Park Berlin is Berlin's biggest continuous industrial and commercial park and a key part of the development of the area surrounding the airport. It spans an area of around 109 hectares and lies on the north-east perimeter of the future Capital Airport BBI. The Business Park Berlin has excellent road and rail connections to local and main-line trains. The wide expanse of landscaped area offers made-to-measure, fully developed plots in various shapes and sizes for all kinds of companies. Around 40 hectares are already available for sale to investors for extensive multi-client facilities. Marketing efforts will focus on the entry area of the Business Park Berlin located directly on the B96a and spanning approximately eight hectares, which will provide an urban centre for offices, hotels and service providers. The development plan will be finalised in spring 2010, however building applications will be accepted now. The first development section with a four-lane main development axis and two other connecting roads was completed in late 2009. The development is carried out in four separate sections and in parallel to the development and sale of available land. Work is set to begin on constructing the second development section in early 2011. 33
